We direct your attention to two websites "www.scoreboard-canada.com" and "www.insurancetraps.com" for which you are providing hosting services, and specifically refer you to those portions of the aforesaid websites that reference our clients.

Comments made by the owner of the websites, Mr. Ron Hicks, in relation to our clients are defamatory and actionable at law.  We will not set out all of the references constituting defamation but our clients take particular offence to the statements that:

1. AIG and its principals were behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks;

2. AIG Canada's president, namely, Peter McCarthy, conspired with "others" to oppress, threaten and intimidate an employee forcing her to quit her job;

3. AIG Canada's president, namely, Peter McCarthy, and "others" used fraudulent methods and bad faith insurance practices;

4. AIG Canada used fraudulent methods and bad faith insurance practices; and

5. AIG Canada used fraudulent methods to force an individual named Margaret Hicks to quit her job with AIG Canada.

There are numerous other comments on the websites which are false, defamatory and intend to injure our clients' reputation and business.

Demand is hereby made that you forthwith take all steps necessary to cease any distribution of such defamatory content, including without limitation, any distribution occurring by way of your delivery of hosting services to Mr. Hicks or his corporation Scoreboard Canada Inc. with respect to the above referenced websites.  Our clients have indicated to us that no legal action will commence against you if you provide your undertaking to comply with the foregoing demands with respect to the foregoing on or before November 21, 2008 and continue to compel with such undertaking.

I trust the above is clear and that you will take whatever action possible to mitigate damages suffered by AIG and AIG Canada.
